Thank you, John, for volunteering to help us grow our worldwide tree by adding your branches. Your opening message is one of the most unique messages I've ever read on WikiTree. :)

If you have a question, feel free to ask at the G2G forum.

WikiTree Help is filled with useful information you might want to review.

The more documents and sources, dates and locations you provide on the profiles you create, the stronger your branches will be.

If you're interested in old photos, we've just started a weekly photo contest.

Hope you enjoy WikiTree!

My Danish g-grandfather, a romantic capitalist, author/photo-journalist, whose name is familiar to all cross-word puzzle enthusiasts was an icon in our home in Hanover, Virginia. Curiosity about J A Riis led me to discover family traditions, legends, and myths.

I reside in Costa Rica's Valle Central. Face-blindness, once confused with juvenile-onset Alzheimer's, allows me to meet new friends, repeatedly.

Fowle's, The Tree, and A Pattern Language, share favored shelf space with the Bible, several BCP editions, Heaney's Beowulf, and hymnals from several denominations.

When in the States, I visit my <2 acres on Broadmarsh Lane, near Hayes. I trust the coming Ice-Age will commence soon enough for my children to enjoy a water-view home, not the current swamp/fen/bog. !Climate Change! HA
