Thomas was born in 1605.
In 1634 on the death of his father he had a special livery for his estate and his castle and lands at Croghan, King's co. (Offaly) were confirmed 1638. [1]
In 1634 he was the member for Phillipstown (now Daingean) [1]
Around 1641 he built a mansion house on the site of Charleville Castle, Tullamore
He m. Margaret Forth daughter of Sir Ambrose Forth, of Cabra, Dublin; Judge of the Prerogative Court and his wife Anne Cusack daughter of Edward Cusack of Lismullen, Meath [1] & [2]
Thomas died about 1682 (His widow remarried with Philip Digby, younger son of Sir Robert Digby) [1]
