Daughter of James and Catherine Robinson Moore. Wife of Jackson Fitzgerald. Sarah had a twin sister named Margaret(Peggy)Moore who married Benjamin Polk. Benjamin was related to President James K. Polk. Benjamin and Peggy Polk migrated to the San Augustine area as well and are buried in the area.

Sarah (Moore) Fitzgerald is buried with her husband in the Thomas Family Cemetery, San Augustine Co., Texas.
