Biography

Elizabeth MOORE

was born in 1796 in Chatham County, North Carolina and died in Ringold, Bienville County, Louisiana in 1868 at the age of 72.
Elizabeth married John Huckaby abt 1816 in Wilkes County, Georgia. She married A Nathan Carter September 30, 1849, in Stewart County, Georgia.
The Great Trek of the Huckaby families from Georgia to Louisiana took place in early 1851. It is not known just how many families were on the move. We do know that Seaborn Jones Huckaby, Green Hillier Huckaby and his brother John Huckaby and many of his sisters and their families came. The old mother Elizabeth MOORE Huckaby was on the trip. On September 30, 1849, she had married a Nathan CARTER, but by the fall of 1850, she was back living in the household of Green Huckaby. As to what happened to Nathan Carter, we do not know.[1]

Moore-6559 and Moore-17008 are not ready to be merged because: looks the same to me

Moore-17008 and Moore-6559 appear to represent the same person because: same name, married to same man, same children [most of whom are also duplicated], same death date and place. Once she is merged, the children also need merge proposals.
Mr. Sigmund:

A proposed merger of Moore-6559 and Moore-17008 because they are the same person. If you, Mr. Foster or Mr. Thrash could do the merging, it will keep me from requesting to be added to two Trusted List. If you know of any reasons they should not be merged, please let me know. Thank for your help in this matter.
