Brunswick Co. Will Book 3 at the bottom of John Moore's abstract, it says "Probate indicates that MARY MOORE was an executor with Hezekiah Thrower & Lewis Parham securities, that said Lewis Parham refused to execute. JOHN MOORE, an heir, was a minor & Hezekiah Thrower was assigned his guardian to contest the will but "declard he had nothing to object to it" Brunswick Co. Va. Wills.....

His will of 9 March 1750/51...proved 24 July 1753" of St. Andrews Parish"...named wife Mary and two sons by name, John and Drury Moore...then "to all my children" after the death of their mother or widowhood..their equal part of my estate...Executors..Mary Moore and Lewis Parham... witnesses: Hannah Hall, Jesse Tatum, Edward Freeman..Probate indicates that Mary Moore was an executor with Hezekiah Thrower & Lewis Parham securities...that said Lewis Parham refused to execute..John Moore was a minor & Hezekiah Thrower was assigned his guardian to contest the will but "declared he had nothing to object to it"

The family of the North Carolina Moores also from Virginia have done a lot of research about their family of Moore's. Here are 2 really good websites about the Moore family from Virginia to North Carolina.

First link at end of biography is a dead link. Updated version available? Might be the original content moved URLs.

Second one, the pdf, has Moore genealogy but the content is later than this bio. Was there an intro to the pdf that contained the earlier story for here?

Also, the Geni version on this William helped clarify that William Moore (not John) was married to Susanna, so William was married twice, first to Susanna, who had most or all of his children, and then to Mary Roberts. She, then, was the "Mary Moore" in the will, relative to WILLIAM's minor sons John and Drury.

https://www.geni.com/people/William-Moore/6000000048918853934 - omits Mary Roberts, includes Susanna, AND adds Wm bro John also m to Mary __. Confusing.
