Biography

Richard Moore was born in 1658 in Charles City County (later Prince George County), Virginia, the fourth of five known children and the third of four sons of William and Sarah Rogers Moore.

He may have married twice:

He married Elizabeth Orick, who bore him eight known children, six sons and two daughters:

7. Mary Moore
8. Elizabeth Moore

In 1685, when he was in his later twenties, he married Elizabeth Wynne.

On 2 August 1727, when he was in his very later sixties, he died of unknown causes in Bristol Parish, Prince George County, Virginia.
