Biography

Hannah was born about 1802 in Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of John Moore and Mary (Rayl) Moore. Hannah Moore married Thomas Clark in about 1823. Hannah and her husband raised a family of at least nine children, several of the older ones born in Fayette County, PA, and the four youngest born after the family moved to Perry County, Ohio in about 1835. After the death of her husband in about 1854, Hannah moved with several of her children to Champaign County, Illinois.
