Amanda Moore was born and died at age 2 in Virginia
Amanda Moore died young.
Amanda was born in Hillsville, Virginia on 12 June 1864, the daughter of William Anderson Moore and Virgina Fulks. [1] She was the couple's second child born, but only living as they lost her big brother when he was almost four years old, 18 months before she was born.
This little angel passed away less than two weeks after she turned 2 years old on 24 June 1866, possibly from croup, and she never got to meet her little sister, Alice, born three months after she left this world.

Birth certificate name is M. E. Moore, and parents' are also initials. Death records were not required in Virginia at the time of her death.
