Jonathan, the son of Thomas Moore, was born in Salem, Essex, Massachusetts on 03 June 1649. [1] He died 16 March 1689 in Southold, Suffolk, New York.

The deposition of Lieutenant Joshua Horton Aged 67 years— testifieth that he was invited by Mary Moore wife of Thomas Moore to goe and see Robart Treasteane & Martha Herbert married at the Meeting house in Southold, and when he came against Ye said meetinghouse, he saw ye people come out of ye said meetinghouse; and they did tell him that the said Robart Treateane was married to the said Martha Herbert: and also that ye sd Robart Treateane hath bine in ye said Town & lodged at ye house of ye said Joshua Horton since one now called Jonathan Moore (now living in ye said Town ) was born of the wife of ye sd Robert Treateane (as it is said) and farther saith not.
