Biography

Ann was born about 1840., daughter of William Moore, a farmer from Rooshy, Killevan. She married James Gillanders, a farmer from Ballymacforbane, son of James Gillanders also from Ballymacforbane in 1867 whilst still a minor [1][1]She was the first of his three wives.They had twin daughters Jennie (Jane) & Mary Ann in 1868.(Confirmed)and three other children.Mary Ann died when she was only a few months old.

Ann Jane died from puerperal fever when Jennie was four[2] [3] [2] Ann Jane(Moore) Gillanders is remembered by the use of her maiden name for her grandson Alexander Moore Gillanders, born March 1906 in Clones.
