William Richard Moore was born on 25 Aug 1906 in Selly Oak, Worcestershire, England to William Richard Moore and Beatrice (Allen) Moore. His birth was registered in Kings Norton, Worcestershire in the last quarter of the year, with mother's maiden name Allen.^[1]
