Aubrey was born in 1915. He was the 2nd son of Willie Moore and Dora Hartley. He passed away in 1985.
In the 1920 and 1930 census records of rural Perry Co, AL (Brush Creek area), Aubrey is shown living on a farm with his parents and six siblings.
In the 1940 census of Marion, Perry, AL he is shown as married to Eloise and working as a store clerk. In addition to one daughter, his brother Clifford was also living with them. On his 1940 WWI draft card his place of employment was given as Marshall Pope Grocery.
Aubrey was not drafted for the war due to poor eyesight and started a timber cutting business during that time, an occupation he maintained throughout his life. He and his wife had five children.
