Ola Sexton was enumerated as wife of the head of household at Flint Street, Ward 3, Asheville, Asheville Township, Buncombe County, North Carolina for the April 15, United States Census, 1940. She was noted as born 1908 in North Carolina and married. She was a waitress (restaurant) as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household is head Russell Sexton.^[1]

Ola Moore Sexton was listed as the wife of Russell Lee Sexton who died May 9, 1943 in Columbia, Richland County, South Carolina. The father was listed as John T Sexton and the mother Margaret Waldrop.^[2]
