Biography

When Richard Thomas 'Tom' Moore was born on March 13, 1890 (or 1892, per headstone), in Coleman, Georgia,[1] his father, Hargraves, was 39 and his mother, Mary, was 37. He was the husband of Ruby E. Womble, they married when he was 24;[2] their children were:

  • Richard E., Sr. (1920–1992)
  • Sterling Price (1922–1964)
  • Thomas Welborn (1925–2003)[3]
  • Cartha Eugene (1930–2007)[4]

Ruby died in 1934 and Tom died on December 12, 1966,[5] in LaGrange, Georgia, at the age of 74,[6] and was buried in Albany, Georgia.[7]
