According to the Lowry Presbyterian Church, Carleton District Presbyterian Records 1880-1900 on 23 Mar 1881 Hugh Moore (Widower) & Ossee Lowry both of Fitzroy Township, Co Carleton were married, also in the record; Oscey wife of Hugh Moore of Diamond, Ontario on 28 Mar 1882 moved to Manitoba. Hugh was a Blacksmith. Ossie was Hugh's second wife. The family's story is told in the local history book "Crocus County" (1981).
