Lee was born in 1922. He was the son of Gail Moore and Florence Gaines. He passed away in 2004.

Posted on Findagrave.com: Lee W. Moore, 82, formerly of rural Muncie, passed away Sunday at Liberty Village. He was born in Windsor the son of Gail and Florence Moore. He graduated in 1940 from Muncie Central High School, where he played on the Bearcats basketball team for three years. He served in the Navy as a Seabee during World War II. He retired from Borg Warner in 1978 after 38 years. Survivors include his son, Marshall Moore and his daughter Linda Nease, both of Muncie; a sister, Marilyn Williams (husband-Lowell) of Muncie; two grandsons, Tyler Nease (wife-Nancy) and Yancy Nease (wife-Laura), both of Indianapolis; three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Parson Mortuary. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. at Parson Mortuary. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Memorial Park. Memorial gifts may be made out to the Cancer Services of Delaware County, Little Red Door, 401 W. Jackson St., Muncie,IN 47305.
