Biography

Theron Moore was born 8 Oct 1810 in Willsboro, Essex, New York, USA. He married on 18 Mar 1833 in Avon, Lorain, Ohio. Theron died 28 Nov 1877 in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan.^[1]

Theron married Delia Ann Case on 18 March 1833 in Lorain, Ohio, United States.^[2]

The 1850 US census shows Theram [sic] and Delia with 8 children.^[3] Two more have arrived by 1860.^[4] In 1870 only the youngest two daughters remain with Theron and (A)delia.^[5] Note that spellings vary in each census, but ages are consistent.

Theron died 28 Nov 1877. FindAGrave gives Detroit, Michigan and the detail that he died aboard a ship owned by his son.^[6] An Ohio book of death records says Sheffield.^[7]

Research Notes

Although Theron's date of birth is consistently given as 8 Oct 1810, there seems to be no actual source.

There is much more to do here. Theron appears to have had 11 children, with 9 reaching adulthood. Theron's father of the same name appears to have had 4 wives and about 14 children, the last wife being about the same age as Theron, Jr.
