When Rachel Clark (Moorman) Goggin was born in 1754 in Louisa, Virginia, her father, Thomas Moorman, was 49, and her mother Rachel (Clark) Moorman, was 40. She is Great-grandmother of Samuel Langhorne Clemens (Mark Twain) She died on November 22, 1835, in Bedford, Virginia, having lived a long life of 81 years, and was buried there.
