Biography

Jane Moors was christened in 1817 on the same October day as her sister Elizabeth Watts Moors; the possibility exists that the two were twins, although one may have been born earlier in the period following their parents marriage in 1813, but not christened at that time. Both were daughters of James and Elizabeth (Watts) Moors. Jane married William Porter in London in mid-July of 1852; she died in or near Woolwich, in London (where her death was registered) in the last quarter of 1891.
