Obituary of Enoch Morelnd. The Carroll Chronicle: 18 July, 1902, Vol. XXXII, Number 16, p5. Enoch Moreland died Thursday evening, July 10, after a lingering illness at the home of his son-in-law Mr. Frank Boyd, where he had been kindly cared for. He was aged 75 years and a citizen highly esteemed. Interment at Palermo Saturday, the funeral service being conducted by Rev. C.S. McGrath, assisted by Rev. W. H. Buchanan. Three sons came home to attend the funeral - John and David from Akron and Henry from Mineral City.[2]
