Simeon Morey was born in 1739. He was the son of Ephraim Morey and Abigail Daniels. He passed away in 1831 at age 93. Simeon married Rachel Taft in Massachusetts and resided in Vershire Vermont. Simeon Morey served in the US Revolutionary war in the state of Vermont. Under Captain Samuel's Company he served in October 1781 (1780?) and March 1781going to Newbury and Royalton. [1]
