Elizabeth was a Friend (Quaker)

Biography

Elizabeth was born in 1658. Elizabeth Morgan was married to Evan Prothero in Wales. They were members of the Quaker community there. As Quakers in Wales at that time, their family underwent much persecution. Evan Prothero appears in Joseph Besse's Sufferings of Friends.

Elizabeth Morgan Prothero immigrated to Pennsylvania with her husband and young children, during the Great Quaker Migration of the 1680's. Her death was recorded on November 24, 1709 at Radnor Monthly Meeting in Chester County, Pennsylvania.
