Birth

Amos Morgan was born 21 Oct 1787 to Jonathan Morgan and Anna Woodburn in Preston, Connecticut.^[1][2]

Note:

This Amos Morgan is NOT the Amos Morgan that was born to Amos Morgan and Sarah (Welsh) Morgan Born 13 Nov 1771, in Colchester, New London, Connecticut. This mistake was already made at FindAGrave.^[3]

Marriage

Amos married Cynthia (Brown) Morgan15 Dec 1808 in Preston. After the death of Cynthia 31 Dec 1813, Amos married Elizabeth "Betsy" (Brown) Morgan 27 Feb 1814. They had no children together.^[4]

Death

Amos died 8 Sep 1851 in Preston and is buried in Preston City Cemetery with 2nd wife, "Betsey".^[5][6][7]

All documentation says Apr was the month of death, however the tombstone, clearly visible on FAG says Sep.^[8]
