Biography

Stephen Morgan was born in 1780[1] in Morgantown, Monogalia County, Virginia, the seventh of fourteen children and the fifth of eight sons of Morgan and Mary Prickett Morgan.
On 16 September 1806, when he was in his mid-twenties, he married Priscilla Butler in Monongalia County, Virginia.[2]

She bore him one known child, a daughter whom they named Mary.
On 31 October 1826, when he was n his mid-forties, he died in Monongalia County of unknown causes.
