Rosetta (Morgan) Crittenden has English ancestors.
Rosetta Catherine was born in Saline, Michigan on January 17, 1844 to John Morgan and Sarah (JHendershot) Morgan.[1]>[2] She married William Crittenden, a farmer, in 1862, at the age of 18.[3] Rosetta and Harrison had five children together, farming a plot of land on East Chicago in Saline, Michigan, interrupted by Harrison's Civil War service in the 4th Michigan Volunteer Cavalry.[4][5] By 1880, they had moved to Macon, Michigan, close to her family members.[6] By 1900, they had returned to their farm in Saline, Township.[7]
Rosetta died of arsenic poisoning on December 3, 1900.[8] She is buried in the Morgan family plot in Macon Cemetery, Macon-Mills Road, in Macon, Michigan.[9]
