  • Henry Johnson (c. 1744 - 1808) married (1) Mary Morgan (c. 1745 - c. 1770) in c. 1762; (2) Widow Naomi Taylor (c. 1752 - c. 1794) in c. 1770; (3) Widow Naomi (Corwin) Hixon (1752 - 1825) in 1794. He had two children, Rebecca and Mary, by his first wife; Five, Jeremiah, nathan, John, George and Henry, by his second; and one, Joseph by his third. His descendants say that he lived in or near Camden, N.J., from where he moved to a farm on the Susquehannah River about 1767. Thence to Canada in 1786, where he settled on Lot 29, Niagara Township, Lincoln County. In 1801 he bought Lot 18 from Nathan Field. He also was granted lots 5 and 6, Concession 6, and Lot 5 and the North Half of Lot 6, concession 5, Grimsby Township fo Lincoln County.
