Biography

Robert was born about 1819, baptised 12 Mar 1820[1]. He passed away in 1878.

He had a twin brother. John Morgan. He and his twin brother emigrated to Australia on ship Emma Rugenia from Plymouth in 1849.[2]

They settled in Goulburn. In 1855 Married Elizabeth[3] [4], who was named in will[5] Buried in Goulburn[6]

New South Wales Government Gazette (Sydney, NSW : 1832 - 1900), Tuesday 6 August 1878 (No.236), page 3075. [7] In the Supreme Court of New South Wales. ECCLESIASTICAL JURISDICTION. In the will of Robert Morgan, late of Tarlo, near Goulburn, in the Colony of New South Wales, farmer, deceased. NOTICE is hereby given, that after the expiration of fourteen days from the publication hereof, application will be made to this Honorable Court, in its Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, that probate of the will of the abovenamed deceased, may be granted to Elizabeth Morgan, of Tarlo aforesaid, the widow and sole executrix of the said deceased. — Dated this third day of August, 1878. JOHN THOMAS GANNON, Proctor for the Executrix, By William Jolly, his Agent, Goulburn. 61, Elizabeth'street, Sydney. 4725 6s. 6d.
