Biography
Hannah Silver Morgan was born in Halls Cross Roads, Maryland (now Aberdeen, MD) in 1856. She was the daughter of Robert Morgan and Elizabeth Elliott.
- 1860 US Federal Census for Hannah Morgan, age 4, in the Household of Robt Morgan and his wife Elizabeth L. Morgan [
- 1880 US Federal Census for Hannah Morgan, age 22, single, shows her living in her brother Thomas Morgan's household in Halls Cross Roads, Harford County, Maryland
- R. Morgan Mitchell and Hannah Silver Morgan were married at the Grove Presbyterian Church in Aberdeen, Harford County, Maryland by Rev. George Morrison on the 7th of December 1881. [1]
- 1900 US Federal Census shows M. Mitchell with wife Hannah S. Mitchell, both age 44, living in Halls Cross Roads, Harford County, Maryland and shows Years Married as 19.
- 1920 US Federal Census shows Morgan Mitchell, age 64, and wife Hannah, age 63, living in Halls Cross Roads, Harford County, Maryland.
- Hannah (Morgan) Mitchell passed away on the 12th of January 1921 in Harford County, Maryland. She was buried in the Grove Cemetery in Aberdeen, Harford County, Maryland. [2]
