He is the son of William Morgan.
"William Morgan, of Llanvabon, born 1571 (his will describes him as late of Eglwysilian). He bore arms, CILFYNYDD, (see page 11). Issue: 1. Evan. 2. Thomas. 3. John. 4. James. 5. Watkin. 6. Johnathan 7. William.
Of the above, Evan married Mary Friswyth, and had six children.
