Biography

About 1858, Edward F. Morgan was born in Pownal VT., the son of Harriet and James Morgan.

On May 19, 1877 at age 19, he married his first wife, Ellen Callahan in Pownal VT . They had a son, James L. . Ellen died. (before 1880 ?)

By 1880, Edward was 22 years old and living in Pownal, Vermont, with his father, mother, brother, and sister. and son James L (2yrs old). He married his 2nd wife Estelle Armstrong and by 1905, Edward was a Farm Laborer, Living in Petersburg NY with His wife, EstelleArmstrong-5788 his children Everett 16, Walter 15, Amos 11, Gilbert 9 ,Sarah J 8. and Fred 5. and also his Father in law Amos Armstrong, and sister in-law Carrie Armstrong-16399

In 1915, he was Head of Household, 57 years old and lived with 3 of his sons, Gilbert 19, Fred 15, and Amos 2, and his sister in law Carrie Armstrong. in Petersburg, New York. In 1920, he was 62 was renting in Petersburg NY (presumably alone)

In 1930, he was 73, owned a place on North Rd. in Petersburg, NY. Carrie Armstrong-16399 was living there too. He passed away in Petersburg NY on 07-22-1931.
