Pierre Morin was born March 29th 1789 in St-Henri in the Province de Québec, he was baptized the next day. His parents were Pierre Morin and Marie Rouleau[1]
He married Élizabeth Bourgette March 22nd 1811 in St-Joseph-de-la-Pointe-de-Lévy. Witnesses: Pierre Morin père, Augustin Morin et Charles Rouleau oncles de l'époux. Louis Roy Beau père, François et Louis Bourget oncles de l'épouse.[2]
Their marriage contract dated April 11th 1811 is in the notarial records of Jacques Boucher.[3]
After he was widowed he remarried to Marie Louise Lefebvre, herself a widow, on January 23rd 1841 in Ste-Marie, Canada Est.[4]
He and Louise had one child together who survived to adulthood, Marie Modeste.
He died November 6th 1869 in St-Bernard and was buried in that cemetery. The record in the parish register does not mention that he is a widower. This Pierre Morin lived in St- Bernard. Joseph Laflamme present at his Sépulture was also at Louise Lefebvre's, perhaps a son in law. Age is correct and even without the direct confirmation in the record I believe this is the same Pierre Morin.[5]
