Biography
Marie Marceline Morin was born on September 8, 1850 in Pointe de Lévy to François Morin and Marcelline Cantin. She was baptized the next day[1].
She married Alfred Lafrance on September 20, 1870, in Saint-Romuald, Quebec, Canada[2]. They had seven children:

Marie Célina Lafrance born December 24, 1872 in Saint-Romuald[4]
George Lafrance born May 1, 1875[5] and died June 20, 1877 in Saint-Romuald[6]
Marie Georgina Lafrance born May 11, 1877 in Saint-Romuald[7] and died September 1, 1878 in Saint-David de l'Auberivière[8]
Marie Hermance Lafrance born April 28, 1883[9] and died April 28, 1901 in Saint-David de l'Auberivière [10]
Joseph Arthur Pierre Lafrance born February 22, 1885 in Saint-David de l'Auberivière[11]
Marie Anna Lafrance born October 8, 1887 in Saint-David de l'Auberivière[12]
Alfred and Marcelline were living in the St-Laurent Quarter of Lévis during the 1881 census with their children Alfred and Celina. Alfred was working as a day laborer[13].
The family was still living in Lévis during the 1891 census. Their household consisted of Alfred, a day laborer; his wife Marcelline; and their children: Alfred, Célina, Almance, Arthur, and Anna[14].
Marceline died on April 20, 1897 in Saint-David de l'Auberivière at the age of fourty-six. She was buried three days later[15].
