Biography

• Louis Alfred was born 30 Jan 1844 and was baptized the next day in St-Vallier (Bellechasse). He was the son of Antoine Morin and Françoise Blais. Godparents were Michel Blais and Marie Desanges Tanguay (signature). ^{[1] [2]}

Research Notes

• Louis has no marriage record or burial record yet found in Québec Parish Records. St-Raphaël, Bellechasse, records were checked from 1871 to 1881 and no burial record is in that parish register for him. No marriage for him is registerd in Québec with his parents names as recorded above.
• No clear Census of Canada records for him after 1871. A few Louis Morins are in the census in the right age group but these have not been tracked to establish if they are him.
• No evidence of emigration to the US.
