Biography
Barbara Morison was born on 22 May 1796 in Gamrie and Macduff, Banffshire, Scotland. Her father was James Morison (<1780 - ).
Barbara married Hugh Paterson (1784 - 1848) on 2 July 1816 in Edinburgh.
Their children were:
- James Paterson (1818 - 1869)
- Agnes Paterson (~1820 - ~1821)
- William Mackay Paterson (1822 - 1884).
Barbara died on 9 Apr 1855 in Longmanhill, Gamrie aged 58 and is interred in Macduff churchyard with no headstone.
