Raymoure-1 22:35, 29 April 2020 (UTC): Could she be the mother of Civil War veteran William Jackson of the 54th? His birthplace is given as Milton or Fulton, New York in various military records, but I suspect the correct one is Milton. I have strong suspicions that William T. Jackson of Troy, New York is the same as the soldier, but haven't been able to collect even enough circumstantial evidence to assert the likelihood yet. Raymoure-1 03:33, 30 April 2020 (UTC): In the 1865 New York state census, she informs us that she's been the mother of thirteen children and through census records I can account for 12, so I'm hopeful William might be missing 13.
