1850 At the time of the 1850 US census Harriet was living in Grant, Grant County, Wisconsin, USA with her parents and siblings. Her father, Isaac, worked as a brick molder. The household comprised:
1865 Harriet and William Tamlin were married on 6 Mar 1865 in Dubuque, Iowa, USA.[2] Her new husband seems to have been in the fruit business in Dubuque, Iowa.[3] He and Harriet had a son, Albert "Burt" Morris Tamlin, born in 1865. [4]
1880 Harriet and William had divorced by 1880 and Harriet and her son were living with her sister Mary Jackson in Dubuque, Dubuque County, Iowa. Harriet, or Hattie as she appears on the 1800 US census, was working as a housekeeper. Albert was now about 15 years old.
Harriett was born about 1842. She passed away in 1899.
