He had thirteen siblings, namely: Thomas, Elizabeth Jane, Henry Harris, Maria Anne, Harriet Adeline, William Joseph, Louisa Hannah, John, Daniel, Charles, George Andrew, Richard Albert, and Sara. He died on 24 Jul 1870^[1] in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. When he was 19, he married Mary Ann Cooley,daughter of Samuel Cooley and Elizabeth, on 28 Aug 1837^[2] in Liverpool, New South Wales, Australia.
