Biography
George Francis Morris was born in 1834 in Lancashire, England, the son of Emma Morris (nee Francis) and William Gregg Morris.[1][2]
He was a vigneron and wine merchant.[3] He owned "Fairfield" in Rutherglen, Victoria, Australia.[3]
He married Sarah Hughes in 1856 in Victoria.[1] Their children were:[1]

Sarah died in 1896.[1]
George remarried in 1904, to Ellen Francis.[1]
George died on 8 January 1910 in Toorak, Victoria.[1][3] His remains were interred in Brighton cemetery.[2]
