In 1821, John Morris was born in Buncombe County, North Carolina, USA. John Morris married Winnie Emaline Kilpatrick (1826-1899). John Morris was a Civil War veteran; he enlisted on 19 Sep 1864 in Mt. Lebanon, Marion Township, Ozark County, Missouri. John mustered out on 20 May 1865 out of Springfield, Greene County, Missouri. John Morris served in the 46th Regiment, Missouri Infantry, Company I (Union). On 30 Jul 1892, John Morris died at age 71 in Cotter, Baxter County, Arkansas, USA. [1]
