She is not the daughter of William Morris-43 Sr. and Elizabeth (Stapp-1) Morris as some researchers believe. The proof is that she is not a child mentioned in William Morris Sr's will when he died in 1792. All ten of their children's name were mentioned in the will with the exception of her's. This particular Sallie (Morris) Connolly did not die until 1838.

I have removed William Morris-43 Sr. and Elizabeth (Stapp-1) Morris as parents of Sallie Morris. Wm's will has been located and it lists all the children's name but it does not list Sallie's name in his will in 1792/3. Sallie was alive in 1792/3 and there is no reason she wouldn't have been listed in her father's will since all the other children's names were listed.
Ten children are listed. "I further will and direct that the whole residue of my estate both real and personal be equally divided amoungst my ten children, to wit, William, Henry, Leonard, Joshua, John Carlus, Levi, Benjamin, Elizabeth and Frankey, to be them and their several lawful heirs freely and fully possessed and enjoyed ..."
