Biography

Sarah Morris, daughter of Robert Morris and Mary Groves, [1][2] was born in about November 1837 in Carisbrooke, Isle of Wight. [1][3][4] She married John Ballard on 3 October 1857 in Brighstone, Isle of Wight. [2] She died in about May 1911 on the Isle of Wight. [5]

On 30 March 1851 in Carisbrooke, Isle of Wight, with her parents Robert Morris and Mary Morris, her brothers Ephraim Morris aged 23 and William Morris aged 19 and her nephews Henry Sibbeck aged 5 and Robert Sibbeck aged 2. [1]

On 7 April 1861 in Brighstone, Isle of Wight, with her husband John Ballard and their sons James Ballard aged 3, Maurice W. Ballard aged 2 and Henry Ballard aged 0. [4]

On 2 April 1871 in Arreton, Isle of Wight, with her husband John Ballard, their children James Ballard aged 13, Henry Ballard aged 10, Ellen Ballard aged 6, Sarah A. Ballard aged 4 and Kate Ballard aged 2 and her parents Robert Morris and Mary Morris. [6]

On 3 April 1881 still in Arreton, Isle of Wight, with her husband John Ballard and their children James Ballard aged 23, Henry Ballard aged 20, Ellen Ballard aged 16, Kate Ballard aged 12, Arthur Ballard aged 6, George Ballard aged 4 and Isaac Ballard aged 2. [7]

On 5 April 1891 in Chilton, Mottistone, Isle of Wight, with her husband John Ballard and their children Ellen Ballard aged 26, Arthur Ballard aged 18, George Ballard aged 15, Isaac Ballard aged 12, Frederick Ballard aged 10 and Eli Ballard aged 4. [8]
