Daniel Morris was born June 4, 1718 and was baptized about June 1718. He was the son of James Morris and Abigail Rowe. He was a resident of Salisbury, Connecticut and Gt. Barrington, Massachusetts. On October 15, 1742 he married Elizabeth Smith, the daughter of Thomas Smith and Abigail Potter. They had 12 children: Abigail, Elizabeth, John, Jemima, Eleazer, Anna (Morris) Elton, Daniel, Lois, Sarah, Mary (Morris) Dickson, Esther (Morris) Dickson, and LeviMorris . [1]
