An account of what John Collins and Grace Kirkham have to depone or affirm concerning A VERBAL WILL WHICH THE DECEAST JOHN MORRISS made and departed this life 13 November last. Being at John Morriss’ house the day before he died, he as farr as they conceived (tho’ very sick) was in perfect sence and memory and required us to bear witness to a verball will which he then made. He gave to William Collins, son of John Collins, one heifer of three years old. He gave Vincent Wyatt, son of William Wyatt, one heifer of three years old. He gave TO HIS SONS Samuel, Edward, John, CHARLES and William Morris, each a cow and calfe AS THEY ATTAINED THE AGE OF TWENTY ONE YEARES. If there should happen any loss of John Morris's stock hereafter then they are to loose all equally and not their mother who is executrix. He gave to his son Robert a pair of deer skins and lastly appointed his wife Eliza. To be executrix. /s/ John (X) Collins Grace(X) Kirkham 24 Feb. 1713 (1714). Produced in Court by Elizabeth Morris. Proved by the witness.[2]
