Jane Morris was born circa 1523 at of Great Coxwell, Berkshire, England. She married Thomas Corderoy, Gent., son of Thomas Corderoy and Joan Seymour, circa 1539 (their eldest son Edward gave his age as 30 in a 1570 deposition, pointing to Edward's birth date being about 1540[1]); They had 8 sons (Edward; William, Esq; John; Thomas, Gent; Robert, Gent; Richard; James; & Jerome, a cleric) and 5 daughters (Elizabeth, wife of William Beckett; Jane; Alice; Mary, wife of John Keines; & Joan, wife of Thomas Saunders).[2] Jane Morris died on 28 October 1598 at Chute, Wiltshire, England; Buried at Chute, Wiltshire.[3]
