Amos MORRISON was born on January 17, 1774, in Lexington, Kentucky, his father, John, was 28 and his mother, Martha, was 25. He had two sons with Myra Guy between 1801 and 1810. He died in 1863 in Clarksville, Arkansas, having lived a long life of 89 years. Historical Southern Families, Vol IX, Horton and Morrison of Virginia and Oklahoma, Page 226
