Family tree sourced from Parish records and memories throughout 20th century from family in North of Scotland and recorded in family tree shared with Ming Speirs. Some information is not verified but an initial contributor to the tree was Christina’s great nephew, Dr. Hew Morrison JP LLD (1850-1935) [morrison-11142] who, among other things, prepared and had published in 1911 a transcription of the Parish Register of Durness (Sutherland). Hew was Chief Librarian of the Edinburgh Public Library from 1887-1922. He was a friend of Andrew Carnegie and helped Carnegie set up his Carnegie libraries in Scotland ( so I trust his research to be mostly correct) other family members including Iain Fraser and Donald Sutherland have researched further and built on these records.
