Biography

Robert was born about 1872 in New Brunswick, Canada.^[1] He was the son of Matthew and Rebecca Morrison.^[1] He married Annie J. Sproule in 1896 in Saint John, New Brunswick.^[1][2] Their two daughters were Selina and Ella.^[3][2] The family moved to Saskatchewan between the births of the two girls.^[3][2]

Annie J. Sproull (23), daughter of Edward and Susan Sproull, married Robert M. Morrison (24), son of Matthew and Rebecca Morrison, on 26 Mar 1896 in Saint John, New Brunswick. Robert was a shipping clerk.^[1]

Annie J. (38) and Robert (38) Morrison were enumerated in the 1911 Canada Census. They living near Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Their two daughters were: Selina L. (7) and Ella K. (4). Annie, Robert and Selina were born in New Brunswicka, Ella in Saskatchewan. They are all Irish Canadian and Methodist.^[3]

Annie (49) and Robert (49) were enumerated in the 1921 Canada Census. Robert was a merchant, they were living in Bladworth, Last Mountain, Saskatchewan. Their daughters were: Selina (17) and Ella (14). Charley Sproull (52), Annie's brother, was living with them. Everyone, except Ella (Saskatchwan), was born in New Brunswick. Both Robert and Annie's fathers were born in Ireland, mothers in New Brunswick. Everyone is Methodist.^[2]
