1885 Census shows Samuel living in his father's home (age 21).
Born in 1864 (probably in Dixon, Lee, Illinois) Samuel moved to Nebraska with his parents in a covered wagon, and in Bradshaw, York, Nebraska he grew to adulthood.
Named after his mother's brother (Samuel R. Lichtenberger), Samuel Morrison was a traveler; he sold steam engines and farm equipment and was a gifted carpenter. He fashioned wagons, bowguns, and animated toys from wood for his nieces and nephews.
Samuel and his wife, Carrie (who was a practical nurse), had two sons and two daughters (Ernest, Lester, Ada and Virginia).
DEATH: Died age 61 years.
