Biography

According to Ann (Morrison) Spittal original Funeral card she died Mar. 19th, 1935 at the age of 84 yrs. which means she was born in 1851 and she is buried in the York cemetery behind the York Anglican Church. The funeral announcement card was kept my Grandmother Isabelle (Spittal) Nelles

Anne Jane Morrison married[1] John Spittal on December 29th, 1875 in Caledonia. The marriage was witnessed by Archibald Spittal and Isabella Spittal this information was found on the registration of the marriage for Haldimand County. It was recorded in the marriage record that she was 22 at the time which would make her birth year 1853.

Burial: Saint John's Anglican Church Cemetery in York, Haldimand County, Ontario, Canada. [2] Note: submitted adding her maiden name
