Obituary "Obituary - On the 19th inst., at his residence, Souris East, after a lingering illness, John F. Morrow passed away in the 73rd year of his age. The deceased formerly resided at North Lake, where he became a most successful farmer. For some time back failing health prevented him from engaging in active life, but he was never known to murmur because of pain or sickness. With patience and resignation he bore his protracted illness, and when death came it found him ready and waiting for the call. Trusting in the merits of a crucified and risen Redeemer, to him death brought no terror. He could therefore say in the trying hour: "O grave, where is thy victory; O death, where is thy sting." While living he was known as a thoroughly honest man, a good neighbor, and faithful friend, and above all a consistent and unostentatious Christian. In his death it may be truly said that he died at peace with God and man. To his sorrowing widow and family, we extend our sympathy."[6]

He is buried in the Red Bank Pioneer Cemetery. " it has been determined that the following people rest there: Peter Rose; Martha (Potts) Rose Anderson; William Anderson; Uriah Coffin; John Morrow; his first wife, Eunice (Coffin) Morrow; his second wife, Hepsabeth Coffin; his daughter, Abigail Morrow; John Morrow's mother, name unknown; and the infant child of James and Eunice (Coffin) Baker."[7]
